734 is slightly underpowered Iā€™d say

You think that everything thatā€™s slightly longer than the original variant of its series is underpowered.

No
For example the 777-300ER is not underpowered by any means

Here you go. A B734 taking off in about 5,000ā€™.

5,000?

Both planes donā€™t need that much runway

Actually, neither one should be able to.

Yeah well the internet sucks at facts

Both operated at SNA all the time

Yeah it said that the 737-800 needs 2300m to takeoff

Well they operate at SBSPā€™s 1900m and SBRJā€™s 1300m regularlyā€¦

They say A320 needs about 2000m of runway for takeoff

Again, SBSP and SBRJ proved Wikipedia wrong

Not sure if A320ceos operate at SBRJā€¦ (on a regular basis at least)

I mean if the NEO can the CEO can too

Well the -800 can but Iā€™m pretty sure the MAX 8 canā€™t (or at least not yet)

900 be like: overruns

overruns at KEDW

If the 737-800 can fly to Hawaii
Or the 757 to the East Coast, then I think those planes can operate to many airports and Wikipedia needs some info updated :joy:

@PlanesAndGames and @TheGlobalAviator, the figures on Wikipedia are recommended takeoff distances, they can take off in shorter distances with higher thrust settings

Itā€™s just like how 777s operate out of Kahului
