This is what N860DA (a former Delta Air Lines Boeing 777-200ER) looks like today.

The first ever Boeing 777 is in a slightly better state, but it’s even more unlikely to fly again.
I flew on it in 2014.
The museum is going to be very unhappy if it was
Also fun fact, out of over 1700 777’s built, this is the only one to have its engine type changed, going from PW4000s to Trent 800s.
Wow. I really didn’t know that.
Is there a reason why they were changed?
Well, as the Pratt’s were the original 777 engine, that’s what Boeing put under the wings for testing. When they sold it to Cathay Pacific, they wanted to streamline the fleet (obviously a one-off is kinda inefficient) with their existing 772s which already had RRs as their power plant. So, prior to delivery the engine and pylon was removed and replaced with the system for the other engine type.
Wouldn’t 777 MSN 1 be a prototype?
i bet the owner says it “seven seven seven” as well
