Three accidents involving the Airbus A320-214

  1. JBU292 (2005)

  2. BTK6803 (2022)

  3. ARE4292 (2022)

First of all, JBU292 is not an Airbus A320-214.

Airbus engine codes:

0 = General Electric
1 = CFM International
2 = Pratt and Whitney
3 = IAE (International Aero Engines)
5 = CFM International
4 = Rolls Royce
6 = Alliance (for the A380)
7 = Pratt and Whitney

N536JB, the aircraft operating JBU292, is an A320-232 with IAE Model V2527-A5 engines, not an A320-214 with CFM56-5B4 or 5B4/P or 5B4/2Ps.

Again, see for yourself here:

JBU292: A320-232
ID6803: A320-214
4C4292: A320-214

There are only two A320-214s involved. The other is a -232.
