No, he’s trying to annoy you because you want everything to be perfect.
In fact, she had seven different operators
- Air France (as F-GZLD, also operated for Air France Asie) 1993-1998
- Air Tahiti Nui (as F-OITN, named Bora Bora) 1998-2003
- Air Bourbon (as F-OITN) 2003-2005
- Air Europa (as EC-JGU) 2005-2006
- Airbus (as F-WQTN, stored) 2006-2007
- Conviasa (as YV1004, last A342 in commercial service) 2007-Today
- Iran Air (as YV1004, leased) 2007
It’s not about being ‘perfect’ or not, it’s about getting the facts correct. Facts are facts; you can’t just change them like that.
Despite being 65t lighter, the A380 (at least the -842 variant) is more powerful than the An-225 used to be (320,840lbf vs 309,600lbf).
Yes, and interestingly enough, the A380 has the lowest landing speed of any aircraft close to its size (and actually even many smaller aircraft.)
That isn’t very surprising though, considering the large flaps and high wing area of the A380.
Just a quick reminder that that wing was made for a much heavier airframe (a possible A380-900 or even -1000)
Triplet TAM A320s! MSNs 249 (PR-MAF), 250 (PT-MZO) and 251 (PT-MZS)!
Twin TAM A320s. MSNs 334 (PT-MZR) and 335 (PT-MZQ).
The new Russian Air Force Stealth multirole fighter Sukhoi Su-75 nickname the checkmate is also the name of a U.S. Navy strike fighter squadron, the VFA-211 which is also nicknamed the Fighting Checkmates based at NAS Oceana
Exciting!
ngl a Lufty 77W would be interesting
I’d says get tge 777 over bringing back the A380.
honestly i hope they bring back more A346s lmao
I have a picture of it with my actual camera lmao
Honestly, 77W’s are probably the better option. Better efficiency, plus they already have 777 rated pilots, so minimal training. Also, can help prepare crews for the 777-9
I believe the A380 is a better choice. They already have the aircrafts, and the rated crew, no aditional training hours, and they can bring them in service at any time (taking into calculation they have already went through maintenance). It’s a waste of time for them to opt for the 777, as it would take longer (delivery, maintenance, painting, aditional training for rating from 77F to 77W and etc) to make them ready for service, and on the top, is a short term decision, so buying some aircrafts for a limited time period when you already have aircrafts that would suit your desire is a waste of money.
Afterall, is up to Lufthansa what they choose, reliability or capacity. I’d be more than excited to see one operator bringing back the A380 again, while I wouldn’t mind on the other hand to see Lufthansa opting for a new type of aircraft in their fleet.
My guess is they’d likely lease. There shouldnbe 77Ws available assuming that some got repossessed from Aeroflot.
Same. However, I believe another one was reactivated yesterday when it was flown to Malta out of storage.
