Performance?

It’s unique

It once accounted for 44% of American’s mainline fleet

It has good range and is very quiet in the cabin if you’re in front of the wings. And it’s super comfortable

Again, it’s a similar scenario to that of the A345. Many airlines simply didn’t need the extra range.

What’s the topic rn

And the ones that wanted it, retired it very early
cough cough Delta

Airbus a380 :-1:

The 777-300 was completely unnecessary in my opinion.

The difference between the 2nd and the 3rd :joy:

I mean ANA, JAL and Cathay loved it

Yeah lmao

Also, A340-200?!?

A340-8000

(yes, that’s real)

Duopoly? Maybe.

Ah yes, 500-seat ANA 777s.

And yes, I was lucky enough to fly on the Cathay 773 a few times before.

doesnt help

it isnt greater than even the A318

how quiet are we talking?

ok i guess

modern economy is no where near than that of the 70’s and 80’s

MD80 was like the king back then, how’s it a failure?

cause it was a loud piece of hot trash

so you’re saying that the B-52, 707, 727, 737 Original, DC-8, DC-9… were failures as well?
