And for those wondering, yes, BCIA has a “drawbridge”. It’s designed to partially swing out of the way when an earthquake strikes, or when a large vessel comes through. This prevents damage from the two tables colliding during an earthquake.

Investigations have concluded that the cause of the tire burst last night was because of a design flaw in the drawbridge. The bridge had not closed all the way and the plane ran over the gap between the bridge and second table.

Alaska Airlines has announced their new route from Bogland Intl to Northwest Washington International Airport. This flight will start March 8th 2021, with quad weekly flights continuing from there. Tickets are now available for booking.

Delta Airlines has done the same with starting flights to Bogland Intl on March 9th 2021 from Northwest Washington International.

Delta has come out in a statement today, stating flights from KDTK-KNWA will start on March 15, 2021. Flights will be three times weekly and seasonally (MAY-OCT) 5 times a week. Flights will be on an A321!

Bogland Airlines flight 208, operated by a 22 year old Boeing 777-200 (BC-ONB) bound for Los Angeles, had to divert to West Bogland Airport shortly after reaching it’s cruising altitude. Can you guess why?
