If you expand the brackets you’ll get 6/2x3, but if you open the brackets fully you’ll ft 6, and 6/6 is 1

But, since it’s 2 sided, it’ll be 6 over 2 (3(, I’f you visualise it, and 2 (3) is 6, which is the same as 2x3
