How’s that sad? We’re a big country with a lot of nothing for thousands of miles in some cases. Electric stuff just isn’t an option here, be that cars, planes or trains.

we have 126,366km/78520miles of track
80% is electrified
100% by end of 2023 or mid 2024

you guys have 149,000km/92584miles of track
out of that only 735km/457miles (probably nec) is electrified
