The MAX was originally supposed to have either a 66 inches (168cm) or a 68 inches (173cm) fan. Boeing chose the 68 inches option, and later enlarged it further to the current 69.4 inches (176cm)

Amazingly, the Big 3 US carriers of AA, DL, and UA as of today have exactly 1,000 Airbus aircraft in their fleet

They have 1,558 Boeing in total as well

Qantas’s A321XLR’s range will be limited to 3500nm instead of 4700nm because the aircraft does not have a crew rest area.

Honestly kind of surprised. But now that I think of it, it is smaller than the 757, so it wouldn’t have one in the ceo, so it definitely won’t have it in the XLR. Interesting to know. You never really take that into account how it would affect the distance a plane could fly :joy:

Perhaps there was no for example “747-400”, but instead there was the “747-4”

This is because 00 and 20 are Boeing’s own costumer codes (though 20 was only used for the 707)
