Cheapest gas station in California is $4.59
It was $4.29 yesterday

Cheapest station in Orange County is $4.99 :joy:

That’s hot
$24.25 for a quarter tank (or 4.1 gallons)

And 59 cents is just tax?!

No it’s more than that

Read the fine print. Total tax in CA is around $1.00-$1.50 depending on the region

That’s why we stay at $3.00 when the rest of the country is at $1.00

Europe having 98 and 99 octane :skull::skull:

Why? This should not exist.

I still like Subarus, but the management is killing off what the brand became famous for, and what they should be. They are not meant to be a mainstream car brand, in the past, they’ve never “gone with the flow”. Their cars in the past were completely out of the ordinary, and while they seemed odd, they were brilliant (just look at the BRAT). They’re drivetrain is unusual (they’re one of the only companies that stuck with the boxer engine).

Unfortunately, it’s only a matter of time before Subaru fully just becomes “another car brand”, churning out dreary crossovers and stupid EVs. They’ve lost their rugged, yet fun touch. A Subaru should be a vehicle that is just as at home on the highway as it is blasting through some mud in the woods, or doing handbrake turns in icy parking lots. They’ve killed that in favor of being like everyone else. They’ve killed what makes a Subaru, a Subaru.

Love makes a Subaru, a Subaru nowadays.

Now before, that love was the love for like off-roading and having cars capable of doing anything. Nowadays, it’s love of money and being like all the other car manufactures.

Ford, all other car makers, here’s a brilliant idea; STOP WITH THE ELECTRONIC GARBAGE!
There is no use for keyless start, there is no use for having doors that unlock when the key is within 20ft of them, how hard is it to put a key in a slot and twist. Automatic braking isn’t needed, because we have eyes and feet. A giant infotainment screen is completely useless, just put in a $20 AM/FM stereo with AUX like what was available in the 2000s. Auto adjusting climate control where you can set the desired temperature is stupid. I don’t know what temperature I want the car to be, I just need to know if it’s hotter or colder. Blindspot detection is nice, but we have mirrors for a reason, just lean forward a bit if you don’t have a good angle and you think there’s someone next to you. Lane keep is stupid, that’s whey we have steering wheels. Backup cams are also stupid, you have a rear window (in most cases) and if not, there’s something called mirrors.

There you go. Just saved you about 70% of the computer chips that you’re desperate for.

Exactly.

This is my ideal climate control system (because it is mine lol)

Let’s ignore my aftermarket stereo though. I don’t know how to operate 90% of the features, just bluetooth and FM.

I have an after market one too

I just use the Bluetooth for Spotify and nothing else :joy:

I feel that. Supposedly I can screen mirror on mine, so theoretically I could watch a movie while parked, but I have no clue how to set that up. When I tried to hook up Android Auto, it said to put car in park which is physically impossible in my car, so I gave up.

Yeah it’s weird with the Bluetooth and phone
Doesn’t always connect with the calls
