Kindergarten : Cool private institutes
Schools :
State government owned : Follow the SSC Board which is no good, the school buildings look like they’ll fall anytime
Central govt. owned : Follow the CBSE Board which is the best, good schools
Private schools : Follow the ICSE and IGCSE Boards which are best if you want to go to Universities outside India, best schools

they are different boards that select the syllabus
SSC : Secondary School Certificate
CBSE : Central Board of Secondary Education
ICSE : Indian Certificate of Secondary Education
IGCSE : International General Certificate of Secondary Education

Ah. That’s a lot of school boards. We just leave it up to each state, who then passes the responsibility off to individual districts who then, to a degree, pass the responsibility on to each school. Tbh that’s fine by me. I’m not a huge fan of our government.
