I mean if an A339 flying out to Portugal can outperform a 739 doing short to mid hauls, it’s really underpowered.
the big problem of the -900 is that it can barely pull up before tailstriking, not underpower tbh
The last time I tried using the Alaska 739 on SFO 1L, it literally took off with inches to spare.
A321 has a similar problem but its engines are way more powerful (not NEO).
