They don’t have their hands tied anymore, 787 quality report is due by the end of the quarter, they know what they need to do with the 777X, the 737-MAX is stable once again, the F-15EX is now in production, the T-7 is finishing tests, and the starliner is expected to launch at the end of the month

And what are they going to do? Develop a new plane out of thin air? Boeing has 2 paths, Either making a whole new plane or just “improving” the 737. The thing is, it’ll cost a ton of money to develop a new plane, and it’s money that Boeing could spend somewhere else. On improving the 737, it’s just a 50 year old airframe pushed to its limits on what it can accomplish. What is Boeing going to do? Announce it tomorrow and get 100 orders then have the first flight in 2 years? Like I said before
