Btw, have you ever flown in Economy Premium or whatever they call it? Seems really silly to not upgrade while flying for 7.5 or whatever hours, and besides, sitting infront of the engine on a MAX seems really cool.
I haven’t flown the more premium economy, the latest flights I’ve been on were hardly an hour in the air so no point in upgrading, but for something like your JFK-ANC flight on a rather small MAX 8 then maybe you’ll want the extra comfort
When I did fly on the MAX 9 and -800s I didnt have any complaints on Seattle to/from Hawaii flights with basic economy
Yeah. I wonder how much an upgrade is. Between $15/100 or something? No idea.
It may vary, it may be cheaper to get a last minute upgrade (depending on seat availability) than booking premium economy or higher from the get go

I got a copy of x-plane 11 since it was rather cheap on steam and I’m quite pleased that x-plane doesn’t need to download ~130gb and then load for a bit like msfs. also it supporting my system by default is a perk
