@anon605313 The Subaru makes it pretty enjoyable. I get to watch everyone else sliding around getting stuck in their Jeeps and pickups at 15mph, while I’m cursing comfortably as though the snow/ice isn’t even there (yes, I can still brake and I don’t even trigger the ABS).
Plus, the Subie is pretty fun when you intentionally put it into a slid in the snow.

It’s true though! Most of the cars that I see in the ditch out here when it snows are Jeeps.
I was up in tbe backcountry a coulple weeks ago and a guy in a big lifted 90s Grand Cherokee sae me cross through a really deep, rutted, choppy pit of loose snow, figured that if I could do it then he could.
He got about halfway through and got stuck so I helped pull him out with my Subaru.
