World Flying Community Off-Topic Discussion (Part 17)

I already got a car, my good ol’ manual outback. Puts all the jeeps at my school to shame when the road becomes not a road.

lol, How’d you buy iy. Lets talk about Money

Jobs/savings. Plus the fact that the car was quite cheap car wise.

I didn’t actually buy the Subaru with cash though. My dad bought it (paid $1750) as a daily after I had bought his Explorer from him (he bought it for $1k like 6yrs ago, I paid him $1k), and then after I got comfortable driving stick, I traded cars and took ownership of the Subie.

Fun fact, it snows year-round in Colorado! Does it stick? No, but when you see those white flakes coming down from the clouds, you say:

“Ahh, don’ you love Colorado weather?”

I guess I’ll never go to Colourado then…

Ok, maybe in the mountains, but in Denver, it can get a solid 35 degrees out pretty quick!

Pretty cold :troll:

I think he’s lying to you.

Nope, not a lie. As a Coloradan, I can confirm that it does in fact snow year-round here. Mostly up on the high peaks, but come August it’s not impossible to see flakes in the “lower” elevations during the night. A couple years ago I even got 2" of snow at my house the day immediately after labor day.
