@anon605313 The Subaru makes it pretty enjoyable. I get to watch everyone else sliding around getting stuck in their Jeeps and pickups at 15mph, while I’m cursing comfortably as though the snow/ice isn’t even there (yes, I can still brake and I don’t even trigger the ABS).
Plus, the Subie is pretty fun when you intentionally put it into a slid in the snow.

It’s true though! Most of the cars that I see in the ditch out here when it snows are Jeeps.
I was up in tbe backcountry a coulple weeks ago and a guy in a big lifted 90s Grand Cherokee sae me cross through a really deep, rutted, choppy pit of loose snow, figured that if I could do it then he could.
He got about halfway through and got stuck so I helped pull him out with my Subaru.

I saw this KIA Soul that had larger tires on it once 
Looked so bad.
Also those minivans that get the larger tires are so ugly.

It was one of the '90s ones so it still had the solid axles and off road capabilities, unlike the new ones.

That is a family SUV basically.
Doesn’t need to be lifted in my opinion.
That’s like the GMC Yukons that are lifted and have bigger tires.
