World Flying Community Off-Topic Discussion (Part 16)

Yeah.

I like the business, the sounds, the sights, etc.
The actual flight is just sitting in a metal tube for 4hrs.

Fun fact: I am Dutch, not American, so besides me being basically not understandable because of my cursed accent, I also am really shy, lol…

And, that rarely works anyways, lol.

Oh

Ehhh. You ever been on a US train? They’re never on time, slow af, and in most routes, the scenery sucks (the Colorado route is pretty good though). We (Colorado) do have a Luxury train and a few historic steam engine sight seeing trains, but the big one is Amtrak and they aren’t great.

Yeah.

The steam ones are pretty cool. One of them, the Durango&Silverton, hold a bike race called the Iron Horse where the goal is to beat the train over the pass from Durango to Silverton.

Oh wow thats cool

Which ones?

The ones you consider crappy.

The Amtrak? The trains themselves are fine, it’s just the experience isn’t great if you’re using the train as a way to travel. It’s more so a sight seeing experience.
