Yeah, manufacturers learned that after Airbus didn’t ask around and created the Whale, while Boeing did and built the Dreamliner, the results are quite obvious

Not sure if it’s a reflection of the roof, but if you look closely in the cockpit, you can see exposed wiring where the AP panel would be
