Why Muffins are NOT Bald Cupcakes

Muffins are absolutely NOT bald cupcakes. Here is why.

  1. Cupcakes are eaten cold; whereas muffins can be eaten warm
    Cupcakes are always eaten cold. Never are they eaten warm out of the oven. However, muffins are best fresh out of the baker’s oven. This is a very distinct difference that can NOT be ignored.

  2. Muffins occasionally have things inside of them
    Muffins sometimes have “toppings” inside of them. I.E., blueberries and chocolate chips. With the exception of rainbow sprinkles, cupcakes leave everything on top.

  3. They are made of different ingredients
    Cupcakes are just miniature cakes. There is no difference between the two in composition. However, muffins are miniature quick breads. They may sound and look similar, but they are NOT.

Conclusion
Muffins are NOT bald cupcakes. If you say so, you are spreading misinformation and lies.
