It’s about 111 degrees (in freedom units) or roughly 44 degrees (in elsewhere units) where I’m at

We’re also forecasted to possibly get thunderstorms over the next few days, starting tonight

Phoenix?

Medford, Oregon

Ah. I’m guessing that’s in the southeastern bit of Oregon?

southwestern, but i doubt it’s any different there (in terms of temperature)

Probably not. I just guessed S/E because that’s similar in geography to southern Idaho/northern Nevada (which is pretty similar to basically the rest of the west). The Oregon coast is a bit more forested.

it’s a night and day difference between the coast and just a little ways inland. When the interior heats up, the coast becomes windy and/or fogged in

not to mention the coast’s temperature is half of what it is where I’m at

Would gladly take any of those temperatures over mine. It sucks because I want to go see a DC-10 or two to fly in but it’s too hot

This year’s been oddly cool for us here. We’ve only had about a week of 100°+. Usually those sort of highs are present throughout most of June, all of July and most of August. We’ve also gotten more rain than we normally get (at least it seems that way).

We have gotten more rain than usual back in June and earlier this year than we do on a normal basis, or at least a delayed summer. I guess us around the west seaboard are currently paying for that since we now have 100+ temps. Also there now seems to be some wildfires as well
