Never flown the 380, but from what I hear, it’s much more spacious, comfortable, and it’s much quieter than the 747.
Boeing doesn’t have any smaller jets to compete with the A220. You can argue the 737 max 7 could possibly, but the 220 is much more optimized for what its meant to be.
As far as the Max, it’s been good so far. If it can run another two years or so maybe I’ll feel comfortable with it, but Boeing really messed up with that one and it’ll take some time for me to give it my trust again.
Not sure what’s wrong with Boeing and not with Airbus when they say the A350 has “just a cosmetic issue” without any proper investigation on the matter. Guess we’re all better off at Embraer.
You see, the A350-1000 is essentially just a stretched A350-900, very much unlike the 737-100 and the 737 MAX 9, which has a completely different cabin, cockpit, engines, heck even the wings are different (they redesigned the wing when making the NG)
And with that yes I’m saying that flying on, say an A320neo is a different experience than flying an A320ceo, but not an A321neo
Before @TheGlobalAviator comes here saying about the wing, it appears Boeing knows what the issue is and is working on both an immediate and a long-term solution.
Not a Boeing issue, a carbon fiber manufacturer issue (the carbon fiber parts are built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Japan). They said some parts may have been contaminated but are no cause for concern.
