Off duty button for Mods

This was just an idea that came into my head.
There should be an off duty button for all Leaders (mods, leaders) so that all other WFC members know which mods are available or unavailable incase of a problem or issue.

I vote yes because you need a break from all my BS

this is where the “users who are online tab” would be good

The staff team, more specifically Zac, has taken this into consideration. Unfortunately, despite this being a publicly available Discourse plugin, we would encounter an issue that could put the forum at risk. Therefore, at this time, it is not feasible.

@Brody_Swiatek, I am not sure if this is possible due to Discourse limitations. If that proves to be the case, or if the WFC chooses not to implement this (if the feature is present), I encourage all users to utilize the moderator tab. This page will allow users to see which mods are currently online.

Alright, if this gets 15 votes or more, I’ll see what I can do :wink:

Good because we still want it. :joy:

@Z-Tube What do you think?

I’m indifferent. Would it be a neat feature to have? Yes. Is it necessary? No.

As I stated in my reply above (here), Discourse offers the ability to see a list of all the moderators and the last time they were online. It’s not hard to navigate to and serves the same function as this request, with, at most, slightly more ease.

If my vote will make or break this request, I’ll add it.

Added! A :beach_umbrella: will show next to a mods name when they are off duty,
