G-BNLY had a slightly different coat of arms when it was repainted into the retro livery compared to an actual Landor livery aircraft - notice how the central shield lacks the exterior outline on the retro livery, among other minor differences

Despite VARIG having “priority” given by the government in being the launch customer for aircraft types in Brazil, they only received their first 727 (also the first 727 in Brazil) over a year after VASP received their first few 737s. And it would be even longer until VARIG received 737s of their own.

D-ABYA had a significantly smaller Star Alliance logo when compared to the rest of the 747 fleet - both -400s and -8s.

(im here and what was that about me being gone?)

As some of you may know, Avianca Brasil and LAN were the only two operators of the A318 with PW6000s (LAN was the original customer and Avianca Brasil bought LAN’s entire fleet).

Here’s a fun one: If we list all of the Chilean registrations of LAN’s A318s in alphabetical order, and see what registrations they got at Avianca Brasil, the Brazilian registrations would also be in alphabetical order.
