What is going on? It looks like if they’re testing if 737 800s can land at SBP

Do it Alaska, start 737 service.

Finally get mainline that isn’t Allegiant. Or do they only fly to nearby Santa Maria instead of SLO?

Of course I missed it. :smiling_face_with_tear:

American Airlines

Aircraft have been holding in patterns and circling the airspace before landing this afternoon.

Then you have this interesting flight deviation

Airport looks like the 405

Singapore cargo turning back to DFW

Not sure. Probably just busy airspace from Thanksgiving.

They’re doing something similar today still.

Yes. Always good to fly next to an active volcano. Especially when they’re expecting 1/4 inch of ash to cover the island and nearby water.

Engines in new livery but not the aircraft.

Like Hawaiian sending their 717s to Seattle for maintenance.
They have to put extra fuel tanks inside the cabin and remove the seats from what I’ve heard :joy:

when Hawaiian used to have the Ohana branded ATRs they sent them over to McMinnville, OR for what I believe was a stop on the way or the stop for maintenance

Dang. That’s even more of a stretch than the 717s.

I was honestly confused at first seeing that, but now that I know what I know it’s not the most surprising. Hawaiian’s Ohana service was run by Empire Airlines, the same ones who run FedEx’s ATRs and C208s so perhaps McMinnville is also a ATR maintenance area for Empire.

That would make sense.
