A 42 year old Taiwanese woman has given birth while en route to Seattle-Tacoma. The plane has diverted to Anchorage and the woman has given a successful birth. However, this has caused discomfort for a few passengers.

Yes. Our Dash8 flying RIL-SLC had to make an emergency landing in Vernal after it was discovered that one of the largest meth producers/dealers in Rifle was on board. Pilots shut off the right side engine mid flight and told the passengers that we were landing due to a technical issue. FAs then told everyone to remain seated after landing and the plane was taxied to a remote part of the airport where police were waiting after being called in by the Garfield County sheriff’s office. They then raided the plane and arrested the dealer.

JB39, a 777-300ER registered as OE-JKA, flying from Vienna to Los Angeles had prominent members of the Russian Mafia on board. The pilots then switched off the engines and the generators to make it look like a major technical failure and diverted to Newark Liberty. The plane had a hard landing and was towed to a remote corner of the airport, where 2 SWAT teams and a couple of regular officers raided the plane and arrested the mafia members, who were armed. Looks like they forgot to hijack the plane. The planes undercarriage suffered some damage due to which the plane could not leave EWR. The passengers were taken to LAX in an American Airlines 777-300ER, with a delay of 20 minutes.
