Classic Aviation Debate

When did I say that?

No, it wasnā€™t you who said that.

People can have their opinions. Baseless and all. :joy:

PW fanboy alert

Just because people like one manufacturer over another doesnā€™t mean theyā€™re a fanboy.

I donā€™t call you a 737-200 fanboy.

Problem is when they defend it even though they have no evidence the competition is worse

For example, I admit Iā€™m a Bombardier hater (totally not because I live just a few kilometers away from Embraer)

Eh, I think hater is the opposite of fanboy (you hate it because yes)

Iā€™ve given reasons as to why I donā€™t like GE and RR as much as P&W (though Iā€™d pick GE over RR)

Well whatā€™s your reason regarding GE? A supposed bribery scheme you canā€™t prove?

Canā€™t even take a joke

A few reasons why I think P&W is better than GE:

  • P&W is used on a wider range of aircraft
  • Backbone of WWII aircraft
  • More engine varieties/types

GE just falls short of P&W overall, in my opinion.

Still, GE is better than RR. (Not a fanboy since I complimented the competition and pick them over RR).

American Airlines B757-200 Chrome

Also that United B767-300 Tulip still back in 2013!
I donā€™t remember seeing those. Continental livery got painted fairly quickly after the merger. Heck, connecting in EWR in 2013 was all Continental already.
