Not in large numbers though, they only serve a small niche, a320 > DC3

They weren’t even competitors in the first place.

The A320/A320neo was developed to rival the 737 Classic and MAX respectively, not the DC-3.

It doesn’t matter as the a320 is still better, in terms of looks which is irrelevant to what you just stated

Well, it sorta does matter. It’s like comparing an 80s Toyota Hilux to a 2022 Escalade.

Yes, they both serve a similar purpose, but they are in no way meant to be the same.
