Maybe in the '80s and '90s, but I’ve been on a pre-US merger AA 757, and I don’t remember it being that great.
Their first class was bomb though.
Before the stupid US Airways merger AA was known for being on time and was the choice of Business travelers.
Now look a what’s happened. Hopefully the new CEO is better but he’s from AW like the last idiot was.
deltas a321s are miles better than their 757s, seats are more comfortable and the cabin looks better
I haven’t been on the renovation interior yet and don’t think I ever will probably go on one
its literally just a overpriced large seat, my grandpa’s old couch looked better than them and the couch was probably older than him
6 days ago? Why
not a whole lot of new things ig
Sadness.
uhh ill say sum. BDA used to get a daily 727 until late 2019. cargo jet used to send one from YHM (Hamilton Canada) to EWR to refuel and stock up and then continue on to BDA. it came in a t about noon bermuda time and always departed 7pm or 7:30pm. it would always take off when baseball practice was about to end so once you heard those loud ahh engines you know u were finished. after the 727 we got a 757 with no winglets but now we got a 767-200. pretty good sub imo
That is a pwetty plane in pretty colors!
Personally the best old war bird out there!
I actually have a question.
How would you define ‘classic’? By technology or just by age?
The reason why I’m asking this is because there are quite a few ‘old’ aircraft that have surprisingly modern technology for their time.
cough cough L-188 L-1011 and A320
These two, definitely. That’s why I asked the question.
The L-188 was also surprisingly advanced for its time
A320 isn’t classic, only the special one which I won’t tell.
Tbh it mostly just depends on design ngl, I consider the minidog and MD-90 classic, probably because they are just upgraded DC-9s lol
737 MAX go brrr
It depends, like I said.
In terms of age? Yes.
In terms of technology? Nope.
Fun fact: the A320 is older than the MD-11
