According to IF, they would also control the waters off the coast too. Some of the waters off west Oman is controlled by Yemen.

No from Sudan, but we did get approval from Djibouti, but we decided not use their airspace.

This would be good, but this would also be over Yemen airspace. The missiles would still have enough range to bring it down.

I don’t know if this will help at all, but I’d recommend doing some research on the Ukrainian flight that was shot down early last year in Iran, as it’s a similar situation to what you described.
