Apparently the weather from Wuzhou had strong winds involved approx 4 hours before

But you also have to know it when at a rate of -31K. I’ve never seen that irl.

Anybody know how high it was before it started the nosedive?

FL291 (China is weird)

So that possibly means that ir crashed in under a min from cruise level. Most likely would be a stall or a Pilot Suicide like some people have said.

Based off the article, it took an estimate of 3 minutes to plummet into the ground.

i find this strange

if i’m not wrong here… why did the speed decrease? instead of increase? should it not increase due to the drag of the plane?

Don’t know

But I did found it interesting with the speed chart

Better get that grounded-for-3-years 737 in the sky to replace the now-grounded 737

Yea agreed

I agree that this was likely a pilot suicide.

Took 3 mins to go from cruise to crash. The decent rate might have peaked at -31K towards the very end, but it was about -8k for most of the way down.

That’s about 90°. :skull: Talk about wanting to end it quickly.

My condolences to the victims and their families. Hopefully justice will be brought to all involved.
