Are you sure you don’t want to take back that statement?

Also, Aspen can only handle planes no bigger than a CRJ7, Eagle (Vail) is expensive af to fly through, Denver is a 5hr drive from GJ, and Montrose only has 2 flights for most of the year.

People don’t fly to GJT to ski, the nearest resort is an hour away and it’s a bit of a locals only place. You fly through/come to GJT for either mountain biking, climbing, rafting, wine tasting, or as a gateway to Moab. There’s also a lot of companies based in GJ that make outdoor products, so they need to send reps to different parts of the country quite often.

No I’m not gonna take it back because Bermuda has about the same population. We are a far more desirable destination than GJT. And we can barely take 2 jfk flights. I think southwest would fly there if they think they could pull a profit there

I take it you’ve never been to western Colorado. I’m not going to deny that Bermuda is probably really nice, but it’s just another Atlantic island destination. Sure, GJ is probably boring af if you’re not into action sports, but if you are, then it’s paradise.

Actually, you’ve got less than half the population of GJ. However, for people going to/from your island, the only options are to fly or take a boat, so that really limits the ways for people to get there.

GJ on the other hand, is a major stoping point on one of the most traveled roads in the country.

Yeah I have been, and I’ve been skiing there 4 times. Bermuda is just more desirable for most people. And it isn’t anything like the Caribbean. We aren’t anywhere near them for that matter. I’ll take it you’ve never been. Bermuda also has extreme sports as well like diving.

GJ metro area is 150k, where as the entire population of Bermuda is 62k. Plus there’s 12k students at the university there. They don’t count as residents, but they have to get there some how.
