My dad skied Vermont quite a bit (he grew up in Wyndham CT).

I’ve gotten sunburns so many times camping. It’s just part of it.

So you’ve gone camping in basically the desert, for 3 days straight, 35 degrees, which feel like 40, (no sunscreen) and almost fell off a mountain?

To be honest anywhere you go in the northeast will probably disappoint you since you’re used to Colorado, but we’ve still got some nice mountains

Yikes. I’ve never gotten a sunburn camping but around here you camp in the woods not out in the sun

I don’t wanna get killed by scary monsters like cats from hell, or bears

Pretty much. I’ve camped in all types of extreme weather. I got flooded out of a campsite in Utah a few times before, I almost got frost bite camping at 12,000’ in -30°F, I went on a 7 day canoe trip in which we covered 80 miles, I’ve nearly fallen off Mt. Sopris.

You won’t. Just don’t leave your food outside and bears will leave you alone

Looks like fun

You won’t. They’re more scared of you than you are of them. I’ve had bears get within 10’ of my hammock while on multiple occasions while backpacking.
