It’s a charter for my school’s trip to Disney
Why use Sanford when you have the main airport?
Edit: they could have found another airline.
Cuz idk.
Simple. They just wanna cut corners and fly to an airport which is a loooong way from the city.
Virtually no electricity is green. Even renewable sources like wind and solar cause quite a lot of pollution. The amount of metals that are in a solar panel is incredibly high and most of it gets pulled out of some massive pit mine. That just screams green doesn’t it? Nothing against mining, just proving that solar sucks. And then, to even generate enough power from said solar panels to be worthwhile, you have to build massive solar fields that take up big chunks of the landscape. Then those oh so “green” solar panels have to be replaced and thrown away every 10 years.
Exactly. I totally agree…
So why do they still bother to make electrical planes?!
I already tagged him
Ah yes. The ones who used aerosol cans to spray paint. And caused a plane to need to be cleaned using even more resources.
Environmentalists don’t seem to think very much.
*Polluters
In the case of that Air France plane being sprayed
Quoting Jeremey Clarkson:
… because environmentalists are stupid.
And drove home in their cars that run on gasoline. I don’t believe every single of them use biofuels.
And electric car batteries can’t be recycled. You just gonna bury them and pollute ground water?
Plus they cost as much as a new car itself. So in the long run, it doesn’t save energy, money, or the planet. Along with the electric stations getting power from non green sources
I think Mobil is working on making biofuels to be used more widely
I don’t know if you remember the incident that Samsung had back in 2016 with the exploding Note 7 battery. That’ll certainly be a blow to the hippies if a headline shows up on the news
“Electric Aircraft battery explodes over New York killing all on board”
Exactly. I read that EVs only become cleaner than ICEs after you drive the same car for 12yrs.
For some people that’s not an issue as they keep their cars for a long time, but the average american gets a new car EVERY 3-5 YEARS, which, if I remember basic math, 5yrs is less than 12.
They could really have found Delta which does charters, flies to MCO, which is closer to Disney!
Who??
An all-737 charter airline.
Do I care
