After being on hold for hours
We got called back.
So apparently the DFW-MGM flights are cancelled (along with some other flights there like DAL ATL-MGM).
We are now flying on the same flight to DFW, but instead of 3.5 hour connection, we have a 1 hour 20 minute connection and we are flying into BHM.
The flight back is the same as the original (MGM-DFW-SNA). So I guess the flights that day between DFW-MGM are canceled but other days they aren’t 
COVID has messed up so much crap it’s ridiculous

So no more CRJ-900
Instead I get the A319 (which is the only CEO Airbus for AA I haven’t flown on). Hopefully it has sharklets too
Still get the CRJ-700 on the way back though. Never been on a CRJ
