World Flying Community Off-Topic Discussion (Part 7)

Haven’t had a single day this year with the temp over 100.

We’ve had 1 so far

Been very mild this year

Wow. We’re are already at like 22 I think if not more.

Yep. Last year we had 11 days over 100.

Typically LA gets around 13

It’s the mountain snow that we need the most for year round water

Not too bad
But I guess a lot for Texas :joy:

That’s crazy.

Well in one storm last year coastal central CA got 15 inches in one storm over about a day

part of PCH washed out

Yeah it is. Typically we are in Stage 3 Water restrictions right now but instead we’ve had so much rain that the grass is dying because over watering.

Holy smokes.

Hawaii has the record in the US for most rain in 24 hours

Just under 50 inches in one part of Hawaii. IN ONE FRIGGIN DAY

What the…

This needs to be updated because Hawaii set the record in 2018

CA surprises me to be honest. And it was in LA, not the mountains like I thought it would be :joy:

So that’s why they call it the Los Angeles Basin.
