Yeah airports that are mainly connection airports didn’t lose too much traffic.

Domestic connections primarily. ATL, DFW and DEN all serve the most domestic destinations. LAX is a major connector, but only really for trans-Pacific flights.
Yeah LAX is the busiest start and finish airport in the world. Not really a connection airport
