Why doesn’t Boeing just remake the 757
Leave the 797 for later

Well…their last 3 planes have been remakes: 747-8, 737-MAX, 777-X, I think it’s time they bring something new and revolutuionary again. Think Dreamliner part 2 :wink:

yeah, that will give them an upperhand against Airbus…the XLR comes in right at the bottom of the MoM, Boeing is presumably gonna put this is the middle, aka the sweet spot for this market. Besides, I bet they will make an extra variant either shorter or smaller. That would be huge against Airbus. After the 797 comes out in a few years Boeing’s portfollio will be complete from the 737-MAX 7 up to the 777-X 9
