You were talking like 2 days ago about the water damage or whatnot, it’s had that much time to ruin your phone’s components
The best thing that could’ve been done was to open it up to allow it to dry and disconnect the battery (although knowing apple stuff they’d make it hard to do, especially on a vacation with no tools)
