World Flying Community Off-Topic Discussion (Part 17)

The desert’s not so bad. Atleast there’s no humidity.

I’ve been in MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, RI and NY the past week, let me just say going from a place with an average humidity of 10% to a place of 95% makes me really miss my dry Colorado air.

That isn’t every single VS 747 though.

We’re (somewhat) in a desert climate with 74% humidity :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

You guys are a very mild desert. Some moisture, consistent temperatures all year, so major temperature swings between day and night, etc.

Can confirm thats MCO, as Alaska has 2 gates there, which share the terminal primarily with Southwest. The Southwest terminal at MCO is unique as it only has 2 concourses compared to the other three which have three. Instead of a third concourse, the Southwest Terminal has a little green area. Furthermore and finally, the two Alaska gates at the terminal are the first gates on either side of the concourse directly adjacent to the green area.

It’s a perfect climate (well, for me at least. Could be a little colder in the summer though.)

There will be 2 more, I think.

No it’s stupid. Dry as hell. We don’t have anything here, only sand, and the dead bushes, cactus, or the needle bush things.

Isn’t Brody scared of needles?

Who made you become so smart?

At least you’re not like Colorado peaking at over 100 and then dropping down into the 40s at night.

That’s a major reason why people get hypothermia in places like CO, UT, AZ and NV during the summer. The expect that because it’s deadly hot in the day, it’ll be warm at night, but once the sun drops down and any radiating heat dissipates, the temperature plummets and they get caught off guard without the right clothing/equipment.

I can’t even remember when it reached 100 here (or maybe I just forgot) and it never has reached below 40 as far as I can remember. It may have reached under 40 but it’s probably near the downtown area.

San Diego and coastal SoCal.

Where I’m from is very much a desert.

Same here. It might not be as hot as hell’s basement (Yes TF2 reference I know lmao), but it’s dry as f##k here. Like Jesus, where’s the jungle and rainforest part people expect to see in the Caribbean? Like damn, even the Barbadosboi has it. :sob:

That sucks. Is Sandy Eggo fun, though?

There are not that many attractions, let alone that interest you. What looks intriguing to you about San Diego?
