World Flying Community Off-Topic Discussion (Part 17)

Logic isn’t connecting for me.
Kind of. But not really.

If UA goes for the 787s, those potential A350 orders may be converted to NEO orders.

Yeah that makes sense, but wouldn’t they just take their business to Boeing for those orders too?
I mean, they went through the hassle of changing from Airbus to Boeing for the LH aircraft.

Like Hawaiian.
Airbus changed their orders to an aircraft Hawaiian didn’t want, so Hawaiian took their business to Boeing and left Airbus.
They didn’t change to more A321neos and go to Boeing at the same time.

Speaking of which:

Hawaiian just announced plans to resume Hawaii - Cook Islands service! This will be the only flight connecting The Cook Islands with the United States.

so?

B-21 has nothing to do with the B-52.

Exactly

Bruh.
Amazon got to Hawaiian Airlines like they did Atlas and Sun Country (also ATI?)

Anyways, Hawaiian has 10 A330-300 cargo variants on order to be operated by Amazon Prime. Deliveries begin late 2023.

I’ve said it before and I will again:
Amazon plans to go carbon-neutral, but operates aircraft.

So they’ll use the loophole of saying “We don’t operate aircraft because they aren’t technically ours”

Hypocrites.

So why’d you comment that on the B-21?

Because it’s funny that “the latest generation digitally designed bomber” can’t replace a 70 years old bomber designed with pencil, ruler and compass on paper

It wasn’t ever meant to though.
It’s replacing the B-2.

B-52 is a heavy bomber. B-2 is a strategic stealth bomber.

Though I agree. Old aircraft and were built to last.
Unlike this modern crap.

Just to let you know, it’ll replace the B-1, which can carry more kaboom devices than the B-52

B-2 is being retired though. So why would the B-21 not be replacing it? It looks just like it.

How much do you bet that when the last B-21 retires there will still be a whole fleet of B-52s still flying? :joy:

The B-2 was supposed to fly until 2058 also :sob:

And now they’re retiring it before the B-1 :skull:

B-1: heavy strategic supersonic bomber
B-2: strategic stealth bomber
B-52: long range heavy bomber

The ultimate bombing team.
And nothing can replace them 100%
It won’t be the same.

Just like the 797 can’t replace the 757 and 767
