Noooo. It’s because there’s a Chevy badge slapped on the front of a perfectly good Subie.
For some reason, the Forester was sold under Chevrolet in India.

Yeah, GM owned Subaru in the early 2000s (thank god they didn’t do any designing of the cars), so they did some badge swapping and gave Chevy the Forester, and gave Saab a version of the Impreza.
