Speaking of 737-MAX and Australia, it lost in the fight for Qantas…nice going Boeing, you blew Jet2, seemingly KLM, and definitely Qantas

What is the upgrade for American? Was it a 737 before?

I mean they can’t really control the crappy distance the plane has. It’s been upgraded over and over again. Maybe if they kept production of each variant a few years longer, we wouldn’t be worried about what’s next for the 737. We know they’ll never be able to make a huge difference variant of the 737 without a completely new model. Sad that the era is over

Also I can see Hawaiian buying the -9 or -10 eventually for inter island. They wouldn’t need as many aircraft since they hold more. (Also picked that instead of the -7 because they don’t need the range for inter island)

Aka the airline that placed an initial order 10 years ago and has done nothing since

I’m sorry so you’re saying 100 aircraft isn’t enough?
