We’ve got that here too. Summers are about 10f cooler than LA. (100 vs 110).

That’s nice, but does it get really cold in the Winter?

Nah. Average January high at my house is 40 and that’s the coldest month of the year. Obviously its colder in the mountains but that’s why you don’t live at the base of a ski resort.
