What’s the point of trying to know other’s opinions if you just want everybody to agree with you? It’s perfectly fine for us to disagree with each other on certain matters due to the simple fact that no two human beings are the same. Let’s put it this way, what will the world be like if everyone did exactly the same things, had the same opinions and had identical talents? It will be a planet devoid of variety and diversity. Same here, if you force everybody to agree with you there’s absolutely no point in discussing ideas since there are no opposing views. The whole idea of a debate is to discuss and compare different aspects of a certain subject, in this case music and its genres, not to coerce people with opposing views into agreeing with you. Since if you continue, I repeat, it is no longer a discussion between the two or more sides, instead the result will just be you alone forcing the rest of us to agree that Playboi Carti is the best. There is no ‘debating’ element whatsoever in this.
