“Why can’t you be more like (insert name of random girl)”
or
“You need to be more like (insert name)”
And I’m like
“Yes, it’s obvious that you love this girl (who by the way got a 5.0 GPA, full scholarship to Yale, level 10 in piano, black belt in tae kwon do, and is one of the top 50 high schoolers in the country) more than me. It’s okay that you love this random stranger more than the child you spent more than half a million on to birth, but do you really have to rub it in my face every 10 seconds?”
