And Peta, cow or goat milk is better for people than plant pulp “milk”. There’s nutrients in them that help with bone density. A lot of people who break bones have a lack of calcium because they don’t consume enough dairy product.
I probably should have been a little clearer in my wording. Yes, you need the mother cow to nurse the calf. However, a calf becomes grown enough to be independent and healthy without the mother in less than a year (3-8 months).
