Well, honestly, he might play loud, but he also plays with barely any regard to the key signature. An example of this is today is how we were playing in A major and I never heard a single G# come off his strings

Then what probably happened was that he thought he was supposed to play in D major. Other than that I donāt really have any more explanations for that.
