They should have chosen another airline for the trip.

It was gonna be UA and DL, out of ORD and DTW, but it’s a ton more convenient to fly Allegiant outta GRR with a group of 350
blame allegiant for retiring the 757 lol
Then the question is, why did they pick Allegiant when there are many (better) airlines out there? (Some of which could get the job done with one aircraft.)

Because the drive to Chicago is 4 hours, and to Detroit is 2.5 hrs, we only had to pay $20 more a person to fly out of GRR, which is pretty good

No, what I meant was that there are on-demand charter airlines (like Omni Air International) that could fly from GRR and get the job done with one aircraft only.
