Franklin Roosevelt was married to Eleanore Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt’s niece. The two Roosevelt’s are more closely related by marriage than by blood.

Presidents James Madison, Zachary Taylor, and James K. Polk are all the descendants of James Taylor Sr.
Zachary Taylor and James Madison are second cousins, and Polk is their second cousin, twice removed.
Zachary Taylor’s daughter was also the first wife of Confederacy President Jefferson Davis.
